5 Ways to Become Happier

1. Freshen up your space. Whether this means a deep clean, some new pillows, or even a new paint color, it is important to love the places where you spend your time. Try giving places such as your bedroom, your office, or even your car, a bit of TLC. Trust me: it will be worth it.

2. Spend some quality time with people you care about. It can be your friends, your family, your dog, it doesn't really matter. It is important to know that you are loved and a great way to feel the love, is to share the love. Gosh, if everyone knew and understood this concept, the world would be a much happier place.

3. Step outside of your comfort zone. You never know, something life changing could be waiting for you and you could totally miss out because you are too afraid to go out and look. Great days don't jus happen, they are created. If you really want to be happy, get out there and do something about it!

4.learn something new. The only thing that we take with us after we die is our knowledge. Why not learn something new? You never know when it might come in handy.

I personally find such great joy in making other people happy and honestly, what makes people feel better than when you give them a compliment.

What I've Been Up To

Hello Internet!!! As you may have noticed, I haven't been posting on this site as regularly as I would like to. These past few weeks have been totally INSANE!! On Saturday, my friend's sister threw him a surprise party and I was given the task of keeping him busy all day which took a lot of time and planning. He ended up being very surprised so in the end, all of my effort paid off. (If you are reading this Cory, Happy Birthday next Friday) I have also been trying to get ready for the school year to start. I start my college classes on Monday the 22nd of August which is a week from today. My high school classes don't start until Wednesday though which is super nice. My schedule is a bit insane this year because I am taking classes from Utah Valley University along with my High School classes. As for this next week, not much is going on. I'm hoping to get some new posts up soon so stay tuned. Love you all!! ~Julie
